We generally carry in stock a selection of refurbished second user computer systems. We can also source other second user systems (which are refurbished prior to supply) to your requirements. We also hope eventually to offer our own range of new systems at competitive prices. Below we try to answer some of the questions that you may have regarding our systems.

Some questions you might like to ask.
Q. Do your second user computers come with old keyboards and mice with other peoples coffee stains, etc. on them?
A. All of our computer systems (even the least expensive second user systems) are supplied with a brand new keyboard, mouse, mouse-mat, and user guide unless otherwise stated in the details.
Q. What do we mean by refurbished?
A. Much of our second user stock has previously been used in offices ( often purchased from auctions, etc) although we do also accept some equipment as ‘trade in’ stock. When we receive such equipment we refurbish it in the following manner.
1/ Clean all drives where applicable
2/ Wipe the hard disk and reinstall an operating system plus application software as applicable
3/ Check all internal connections and fixings
4/ Conduct safety tests according to our safety test procedure, this includes checking that all major components (especially the power supply unit and monitor) conform to CE and/or UL standards and pass our insulation, leakage and earth bonding tests as applicable.
5/ Comprehensively test the system including ports and modems, etc.
6/ Replace any parts which are not performing correctly
7/ Run the item on continuous test (soak test) for at least two days
8/ Clean the cabinet exterior (and inside the cabinet if required)
9/ Prepare a user guide specific to the system and operating system
10/ Put a new Keyboard, mouse & mouse-mat with any system units to be sold (unless a nearly new wireless desktop set-up is available in which case this might be offered instead).
Q. What do we do when we customise a system to order or source a second user system to a customers specification?
A. In the case of built to order systems we firstly listen carefully to the customers requirements. We then source a second user system as close as possible to your requirements. We then source either second user or new components to customise the PC to your specifications, we will normally consult with you regarding the choice of components to be used. The components are then fitted and the software loaded. We then carry out all of the testing and preparation steps as listed above for second user systems.
Generally we are able to deliver stock systems within a week of receipt of an order. Built to order systems and systems that require sourcing are normally on a two to four weeks delivery.
All complete systems carry our own warranty, for new systems this is generally of 12 months duration, for second user systems 3 months. For details of our warranties please click the following link. Warranty
NOTE: OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
